The National Bureau for Counter Terror Financing (NBCTF) in the Israeli Ministry of Defense works in coordination with the relevant parties in the State of Israel and counterparts and corresponding parties overseas to identify and thwart these malign activities.
The NBCTF provides, among other things, ongoing briefings to counterparts abroad regarding Israeli designations, seizure, and blocking orders signed by the Minister of Defense. This ongoing interaction aims to ensure that the international financial system is aware of the risks in carrying out activity for designated entities.
The NBCTF operates under the international standards of the International Financial Action Task Force (FATF).
