In a joint operation of the General Security Service and the National Bureau for Counter Terror Financing (NBCTF), the Minister of Defense has designated three companies that assist the Hamas terrorist organization as terrorist organizations.
The designated companies are companies that import iron worth tens of millions of dollars to the Gaza Strip. The companies: "Sharachat Alkassas leltagara Ala'ame", "Sharachat Hamda Kassas and his Brother Mahmed" and "Sharachat Nadal Talal Tsabchi kassas", all of them owned by one family from Gaza, operate jointly for the purpose of importing iron for the terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip, through the State of Israel and from the West Bank territories. It emerges from the vast information held by the defense establishment that these companies have transferred significant quantities of iron to the military production systems of Hamas and Islamic Jihad entities in the Gaza Strip, and in doing so they have directly assisted in strengthening them.
In the course of January, the defense establishment thwarted a wide-scale smuggling attempt of these companies to bring iron into the Gaza Strip. The designation of the companies as terrorist organizations by the National Bureau for Counter Terror Financing will make it difficult for these companies to conduct business and financial activities around the world, this by exposing them to international regulatory entities regarding them being part of the axis of terrorism.
