Defense Minister Benny Gantz ratified his designation from October 2021 of the organizations Union of Women's Committees, Bisan and Addameer as terrorist organizations and made the designation permanent under Israeli law.

As part of the struggle against terrorism, with emphasis on the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, on 17.8.22 the Defense Minister, Benny Gantz, ratified his designation from October 2021 of the organizations "Union of Women's Committees", "Bisan" and "Addameer" as terrorist organizations and made the designation permanent by law.

The three organizations, which form branches of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, did not appeal their designation as terrorist organizations.

The organizations operate under cover and in agency of the PFLP organization in the Judea and Samaria territories and abroad.

The organizations operate under the guise of performing humanitarian activities to further the goals of the PFLP terrorist organization, to strengthen the organization and to recruit operatives and they also assist in raising funds for the benefit of the terrorist organization using a variety of methods of forgery and fraud. The organizations are controlled by the PFLP, employ PFLP operatives in management and field positions and operate to conceal their affiliation out of fear of the security agencies in Israel and in the countries in which the organizations raise donations for their activities.
